A doctor said he could not perform VNUS because the vein was too small. Have you heard of this at your vein clinic? |
I would first need to know if you tested positive for Venous Insufficiency or Vein Disease. If the answer is yes, then with proper techniques and quite frankly performing the VNUS ClosureFAST procedure daily a vein specialist should be able to access the vein. The VNUS Closure procedure can be very tedious and so experience matters. The Vein Care Pavilion has performed over 27,000 vein treatments and counting. |

A Dr. here in Augusta suggested that I have a mini-face lift. How long do the results from this type of facelift usually last? |
That depends on a few factors which include genetics, your lifestyle(smoking, diet, sun exposure),your age and the technique your Plastic Surgeon uses for the mini-facelift. I use the SMAS technique which corrects the sagging skin, muscles of the midface, and some jawline correction. If you have severe drooping of the jawline and neck you would need a full facelift. |

After VNUS closurefast does the doctor check the outcome?
At the Vein Care Pavilion Dr. Roth and I always check to see if the vein we were working on is in fact closed. This is accomplished by a Venous Ultrasound Test with a post-operative appointment at 3 to 5 days. Also,we bring our patients back at one month, 6 months and 1 year to make sure all veins are still closed. The Vein Guys have a 98% success/closure rate with thousands of patient satisfaction stories. |

After you have the VNUS Closure/ClosureFAST treatment can
you tell me what happens to the vein that is treated in your leg?
Studies have shown that 89% of treated veins are indistinguishable from other body tissue after a one year post- operative visit. The vein gradually, over time becomes fibrous tissue and incorporates itself into other surrounding tissue. This result is far better than the old vein stripping option! |
